South of Hell on WeTV

And no we aren't talking about WeTv's train wreck of a show called Marriage Bootcamp. WeTV has green lighted their second original scripted series before Their first, The Divide, even premieres. The new series South of Hell is a thriller, and has been given an initial 8 episode order and is slated
to premiere in 2015. South Of Hell focuses on Maria Abascal, a demon hunter, In Savannah, GA whose power stems from within. The premiere episode will be directed by Roth (Hostel). “As WE tv moves firmly into scripted programming, we are committed to presenting distinctive and engaging stories,” said WE tv President Marc Juris. “That is certainly the case with South Of Hell, a dramatic thriller that introduces viewers to an unforgettable character, supernatural themes and the battle between good and evil.” Much like Lifetime, WeTV seems to be undergoing an identity crisis with the central focus of both networks seeming to be; find something that resonates with women viewers. So what do you think ladies will you be tuning in to South of Hell? Tell us the truth in the comments

  1. As one who has worked on the pilot, I'll for sure be turning in. I've seen Walking Dead, Vampire Diaries and some others. From what I saw on the set, I forsee this show being a favorite on TV and having a long run. We signed NDA's so this is all I can say. I enjoyed Eli Roth and working with the cast.

    2. I agree, the pilot was a blast to work on. I worked on different segments and talk was some of my pieces may be part of all 8 episodes. It was a joy working in Charleston on this one. As in any film or TV show i have worked on in the past 40 years, one never when or even if you make it to the screen until you see the final cut. We shot different takes on some segments so not sure what will make it to the final show. I can say there are many twists and turns. Stay tuned for twists you may never guess are coming.

MY FIVE WIVES ON TLC

"One huge plural family" After the raid in Texas, many Americans became aware of polygamy as an alternative lifestyle being practiced secretly all over the U.S. TLC became the first channel to offer viewers an inside look into how polygamy was being practiced by "modern" looking men and women. The network decided to capitalized on the American public's innate fascination with alternative lifestyles and their curiosity with how these all American families; live, interact and find a way to raise and feed households that are often 5 or 6 times the size of the average family.    We got our first look into how normal and yet chaotic their lives were when TLC introduced its viewers to the Brown family; Kody, his four wives, and their seventeen children. They ice blocked, threw co-ed parties, and had a non negotiable stance on modesty -- they were normal. It only took one episode for TLC to know they had a hit on their hands. In four seasons, there has bee
