Our Favorite Fake Lesbian Couple is Getting A Second Season

FAKING IT SEASON 2!

One of my ultimate guilty pleasures, which is equal parts crazy ridiculous and a story about finding yourself, has been renewed for a second season. The controversial MTV comedy, Faking it has been given a 10 episode second season. Faking It turned out to be the highest-rated new series launched on MTV this year, averaging a 1.5 rating among the network’s target demographic of persons 12-34 and 1.4 million total viewers each week. Airing at 10:30 PM, it retains nearly 90% of its lead-in, MTV flagship comedy Awkward, and regularly ranks as one of the Top 10 most socially engaged primetime cable series on Tuesday.

Faking It is a romantic comedy about two best friends, Karma (Katie Stevens) and Amy (Rita Volk), who love each other – in slightly different ways. After numerous failed attempts to become popular, the girls are mistakenly outed as lesbians, which launch them to instant celebrity status. Seduced by their newfound fame, they decide to keep up their romantic ruse. Tomorrow’s season finale promises to be a dousy as Karma tries to keep up two different relationships and having neither one find out about the other. So my question for the fans, is do you think Karma should be with Amy or Liam? Or should Amy find a whole new girl to fall for? No need to answer that question now, we are going to get another season to figure all that out.
