FX RETURNING ORIGINAL SERIES

SONS OF ANARCHY (SEASON 6 – SEPTEMBER 2013)
The Sons of Anarchy (SOA) is an outlaw motorcycle club with many charters in the United States and overseas. The show focuses on the original and founding chapter, Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club. The Redwood chapter is headquartered in (the fictional town) Charming, California, in a clubhouse adjacent to the Teller-Morrow auto mechanic shop. Led by President Clay Morrow, and later Jax Teller, the club protects and controls Charming through close community relationships, bribery, and violent intimidation.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN (PREMIERES – OCTOBER 2013)
The show is set in New Orleans and Academy Award(R) winner Kathy Bates is joining the cast opposite Jessica Lange.

WILFRED (RETURNS SUMMER 2013)
The show follows a young man named Ryan (Elijah Wood) and his neighbor's dog Wilfred (Jason Gann). In the opening episode, Ryan concocts a drug cocktail in order to commit suicide. After this failed attempt, Ryan's neighbor, Jenna (Fiona Gubelmann), knocks on his door to ask him to look after her dog for the day.

THE AMERICANS (SEASON 2 – JANUARY 2014)
The period piece set in 1981 about KGB spies posing as Americans in the US will conclude its first season on May 1.

JUSTIFIED (SEASON 5- JANUARY 2014)
Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens is something of a 19th century–style, Old West lawman living in modern times, whose unconventional enforcement of justice makes him a target of criminals as well as his U.S. Marshals Service bosses. As a result of his controversial but "justified" quick-draw shooting of a mob hit-man in Miami, Givens is re-assigned from Miami to Kentucky.

LOUIE (RETURNS FOR SEASON 4 MAY 2014)
The series is loosely based on Louis C.K.'s life, showing him as a comic onstage, and depicting his life offstage as a newly divorced father of two girls. Each episode features either two stories that may or may not connect thematically, or a longer full-episode story (often consisting of numerous connected shorter pieces), all of which revolve around Louie.

ARCHER (SEASON 5 2014)
Set at ISIS, the International Secret Intelligence Service (cf. SIS, ASIS, CSIS, NZSIS, U.N.C.L.E.) in New York City, suave and incredibly self-centered master spy Sterling Archer deals with global espionage; his domineering, emotionally-cold mother/boss, Malory Archer; his ex-girlfriend (and fellow ISIS agent), Lana Kane; and his other ISIS co-workers (including fellow agent Ray Gillette, accountant Cyril Figgis, Human Resources Director Pam Poovey, secretary Cheryl Tunt, and Applied Research head Doctor Krieger); as well as a less-than-masculine code name: "Duchess" (after his mother's deceased Afghan Hound).

FX SERIES IN DEVELOPMENT

TYRANT
The pilot will be directed by two-time Academy Award-winner Ang Lee, the filmmaker behind Sense & Sensibility, Brokeback Mountain, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Life of Pi. Pilot production begins this summer, and a full writing staff is currently working on scripts for the first season.

BREEZY’S RECAP……..

I am not big on television or cable comedies just because I am more of a drama girl at heart, I love my soaps and everything from Once Upon A Time to the Americans that being said I am excited to see where FXX goes, and what type of new dramas FXX will be premiering on that channel. FX has become the home of some of the most talked about dramas on television and I am personally looking forward to watching the Bridge, it seems like it will be just up my aisle. The FX networks are putting their money where their mouths are, in what I am prediciting will be a huge success with the launch of FXX, specifically targeting three different demos on three different networks could produce loyal viewership. So what about you, what will ou be watching? are you excited about FXX? which new show have you marked on your calendar? Le me know what you are thinking in the comment!

  2. I think everything said was actually very reasonable.
But, what about this? what if you wrote a catchier title? I ain't suggesting your content is not solid, but what if you added a post title to maybe get people's attention?
I mean "Brand New Channel, Brand New Series, Brand New Start ...... 2013 FX, FXX, and FXM Upfronts" is kinda vanilla.
You ought to glance at Yahoo's home page and see how they create article titles to get viewers to open the links. You might add a related video or a related picture or two to grab people interested about everything've got to say.

Just my opinion, it would bring your blog a little
    livelier.

MY FIVE WIVES ON TLC

"One huge plural family" After the raid in Texas, many Americans became aware of polygamy as an alternative lifestyle being practiced secretly all over the U.S. TLC became the first channel to offer viewers an inside look into how polygamy was being practiced by "modern" looking men and women. The network decided to capitalized on the American public's innate fascination with alternative lifestyles and their curiosity with how these all American families; live, interact and find a way to raise and feed households that are often 5 or 6 times the size of the average family.    We got our first look into how normal and yet chaotic their lives were when TLC introduced its viewers to the Brown family; Kody, his four wives, and their seventeen children. They ice blocked, threw co-ed parties, and had a non negotiable stance on modesty -- they were normal. It only took one episode for TLC to know they had a hit on their hands. In four seasons, there has bee
