NICKELODEON 2014 UPFRONT With rumors swarming about the future of Sam and Cat, and the networks decision to end Victorious last year, Nickelodeon is in despite need of some live action original programming to add to its lineup. Nickelodeon has a history of being the most watched children’s network on TV, and they have no plans on changing that anytime soon. In keeping with the times, Nickelodeon this season is green lighting some original programming just for their digital platforms. This season Nickelodeon has added 10 new series to the schedule with Content Spanning Every Genre, Every Platform. There is currently no plans to expand Nick at Nite instead their original programming will be moving to Thursday nights this quarter, to provide a family hour of viewing, are the network’s two original sitcoms: Instant Mom and See Dad Run.
