  USA Network is sticking with their comedy slate and has picked up a second 13 episode season of their freshman paramedic comedy Sirens. Although it started out with low rating it quicker developed a core audience and began to grow in the rating with each new episode, despite losing its Suits lead-in halfway through the season. Sirens ranks as the top new basic cable comedy series of the year among total viewers, averaging 1.62 million, and in adults 25-54 (870,000).

  BET has a certified hit on its hands. Being Mary Jane is the first original scripted drama for BET, and it was a gamble that has paid off. BET ordered a second season Being Mary Jane after it's 2 hour the finale — two averaged 2.6 million viewers in the first hour and 3.2 million in the second. The season finale was a series best for the drama. The hit television show based on the Melissa de la Cruz novel (who I love by the way) is being picked up for a second season, after an amazing freshman run. Witches of East End starring the beautiful Jenna Tatum and Rachel Boston, is about a family of witches that live in the little town of East Haven is receiving a 13 episode second season which is slated to premiere in 2014. Rob Sharenow, EVP and General Manager of Lifetime believe that “The show’s perfect mix of premium execution with content that is in the zeitgeist is drawing new viewers to Lifetime and we’re very excited to be bringing it back for a second season.” Witches of East End is one of the youngest skewing show on the network and it averages 3.0 million total viewers, 1.7 million Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49 viewers, and 1.3 million Women 18-49 and Women 25-54 viewers on a Live+7 basis through five weeks.
