USA sticks with Sirens for Season 2

USA Network is sticking with their comedy slate and has picked up a second 13 episode season of their freshman paramedic comedy Sirens. Although it started out with low rating it quicker developed a core audience and began to grow in the rating with each new episode, despite losing its Suits lead-in halfway through the season. Sirens ranks as the top new basic cable comedy series of the year among total viewers, averaging 1.62 million, and in adults 25-54 (870,000).
Sirens resonated with a broad fan base, and we are excited to grow this new audience further, as season two promises a lot more laughs and irreverent humor,” said USA Network President Chris McCumber. The series centers around stars; Michael Mosley, Kevin Daniels, Kevin Bigley, Jessica McNamee and Josh Segarra and follows a group of Chicago’s best EMTs who are rock stars professionally, but struggle to keep their personal lives in order. USA’s second original comedy series, Playing House, has recently completed its first season run, and has not heard about a second season. While Chrisleys Knows Best a comedic reality show on USA has already received its second season order and is set to debut this winter.

They ice blocked, threw co-ed parties, and had a non negotiable stance on modesty -- they were normal. It only took one episode for TLC to know they had a hit on their hands. In four seasons, there has bee...

ABC Family is one of those rare television stations where I am going to try everything that premieres on that channel at least once. I may not love everything but, I must say I am addicted to more than a handful of their hit television programs. Summer programming is where Abc Family shines and I must say that this year is no different; there are new hits and returning favorites for everyone to enjoy. Although there is still no word on what lies ahead for previous summer hits such as Bunheads, and the lying game, that is no reason not to tune in this summer and get wrapped up in; the mystery, friendships, and family that remains a key component of ABC Family original series. Updated 7/15/13 - Sad News Lying Game and Bunheads Fans According to several of the leading co-stars. The show has not been picked up for a third season. Although Season ...
