Thursday Night Football has found a new home at CBS. Therefore, the already cramped CBS schedule is getting even tighter since there is less room on the roster. The network has not stated that they are only looking to add 2 dramas and 2 comedies to the line-up for next year. On the heels of that announcement they have decided to renew nine of their hit dramas, five of their stand out comedies and both of their critically acclaimed reality series.   The Big Bang Theory had an iconic 3 year multi-year renewal deal with CBS which kept the series going until 2014-2015. As the highest rated comedy on network television it was not a question as to whether or not the show would be renewed but rather for how many seasons the show would be renewed for. Well congratulations Theory Fans, CBS and Warner Brothers have reached another 3 year renewal deal for the iconic television series. This would allow the series to at least see 10 seasons. This deal would keep The Big Bang Theory on CBS until at least 2016-2017. Big Bang is not the only chuck Lorre series in talks for additional seasons, there are rumors of a 13-episode final season of Two and a Half Men eyed along with renewals for next season of Mike & Molly and freshman Mom.  Even through the show

Fans of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl, The Mindy Project and The Following can all breathe a little easier, because Fox is giving early renewal to these four shows. Brooklyn Nine Nine which recently was awarded a Golden Globes will begin its sophomore season fall 2014. The Mindy Project and The Following will also be heading into its third season this fall, which almost always means that they will both be enjoying a fourth season so that they can get to that magical syndication number.  New Girl will be heading into its fourth season, which was no surprise considering it’s the networks strongest comedy. These shows will join 3 other Fox scripted series that have already been renewed for next season including; freshman drama Sleepy Hollow; veteran Bones, renewed for a 10th season; and Glee , which has a final sixth season as part of a two-year pickup.

Yesterday, the CW took a lot of the guessing out of what will be renewed for next season by giving early renewal orders to its four hit series; The Vampire Diaries for season 6, Supernatural for season 10, Arrow for season 3, and the freshman hit The Originals for season 2. What came as a bit of a surprise was the renewal of one of its modest freshman series; Reign. But when all is said and done, 5 hours of the CW schedule has been set in stone for next year, before the premieres of its two mid season shows; Star Crossed and The 100.

Bones joins Sleepy Hollow, Glee, The Simpsons, Sleepy Hollow and Bob's Burgers all of which have been RENEWED for another season on FOX. Its official, Bones will air more that 200 episodes and at least 10 seasons worth of story lines featuring Temperance Brennan and FBI agent Seeley Booth. Yesterday, Bones got an early season 10 renewal and the promise of a move back to its regular Monday Night time slot beginning March 10 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) . Bones has been a fan favorite series for years, and seems to thrive regardless of where it is put on the schedule.
