Breezy’s Recap: Well there are too many shows to generalize, so I am gonna break down my predictions and opinions one by one…..
“The Kandi Factory” - was done as a special last year and it is definitely a different take on a singing competition. That being said this is kind of a bold step for Bravo and I think it is going to serve them well. My Prediction we will see every episode
“Newlyweds: The First Year” - I honestly have no interest. I am not sure if they are trying to warn people off marriage or convince them to give it a try, but this seems too much for me. Good Luck to the couples on this show and let’s hope they don’t follow in the footsteps of Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey. My Prediction we will see every episode but it won’t return once it’s done
“Princesses: Long Island” Wait! There are princesses in Long Island? No just spoiled daddy’s girls. These girls have graduated college and have moved right back in with their Mom and dad in their enormous mansion. This is the bread and butter of Bravo. My prediction is that we will see every episode and possibly a spin off…lol
“Below Deck” will be hot single people who work on a yacht; having sex, getting drunk and getting mad at each other and the guests. My prediction 3 episodes and done
“Eat, Drink, Love” This sounds like a bad spin off of Julia Roberts, Eat, Pray, Love. This is not their best concept, it’s just sounds like hot people that work with food, let the backstabbing, nail-biting, shade throwing commence. My Prediction 4 episodes, and then even the execs will get bored with this one
“Property Envy” - So we get to look at really nice houses most of us will never be able to afford. Hmm I don’t know If I Hate or Love the idea. Oh well, My Prediction is we will see every episode
“Taking Atlanta” - So essentially the real housewives of Atlanta, but this time everyone is single and guys can be the star to. Hot sexy people in Atlanta… boring. My Prediction 3 episodes and done
“City Sisters” will include over stressed, over worked women, who will use the show as a reason to each sleep with each other’s husbands, or promote their business. My prediction 2 episodes and done
“Extreme Guide to Parenting” - Nothing is more fun the watching parents lose their minds when it comes to kids and them doing outrageous things. I am pretty sure this was done on OWN’s Our America with Lisa Ling, and her version was informative. I am sure this will just be chaos. We shall see. My Prediction a we will see every episode
“Thicker Than Water: The Tankards” - Why does this seem like Bravo’s Version of Run’s House + music? Probably because it is, MTV had a lot of success with it and I expect Bravo to as well, even if it is a rip off. My Prediction we will see every episode
“Courtney Loves Dallas”…. Really? Ok I’ll admit it, I never watched Most Eligible Dallas, and by the sounds of it, this show won’t thrill me much either. 1 episode can’t kill me. My prediction we will see every episode….much to my disgust
“Divorce Diva” - A divorce mediator keeps divorcing couples out of the courtroom and allowing them both to keep their dignity. I surprisingly like it. But BRAVO change the name… quickly it’s just awful, it sounds like a five year old made it up. My prediction is we will see every episode
“Fashion Queens” I have previewed it and it was BAD. No I am not kidding, this is hard to watch even on a good day, but people like mindless entertainment. My Prediction it will be around for a while…please prove me wrong I’m begging here.
“Southern Charm” is about Old school southern social scene? Well as long as there are some sexy southern gentlemen to keep me interested I’m on board. My prediction 2 episodes and done
“Two Fit Girls” how to turn a website, into a job, into a reality TV show starring best friends. I’m not interested in this at all. My Prediction is 3 episodes and done
“Ladies of London” People can be rich ad still completely different. There is such a thing as status, let’s see who will be on top. I’ll admit I’m intrigued. My Prediction is 4 episodes and done. (But Please Please change the title)
“100 Days of Summer” This circle of friends are rich, powerful and live in chi-town. They break up, make-up, love and kick as I the boardroom. What could possibly go wrong? My prediction is that this will last; Bravo is good at nonsense like this…. We will see every episode
“Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce” Girlfriends guide to divorce sounds like a dramatized version of a self help book. It seems like an interesting show that will totally depend on casting. That being said I am excited to see how BRAVO handles this. My Prediction is that it is too soon to tell
“Heiresses” I need to start by saying I love Alloy entertainment and Sara Sheppard author of Pretty Little Liars and the Lying Game. This scripted series sounds like an older less trivial version of PL. The premise is a group of cousins are set to inherit a fortune and everything is fine until one of the cousins die. Now it’s up to the rest of them to figure out if it was an accident or if she was targeted. And if she was targeted who’s next? My Prediction is that it is amazing and I can’t wait to see it.
“High and Low” This is a period drama, which feels like an upscale version of One Tree Hill, which focuses around a restaurant. This could be an interesting drama, although I am not sure why this needs to be a period piece, My Prediction is a that BRAVO will pick it up, they must be real specific with casting
“Ivy League Confidential” (working title) this will definitely be a hit. Teens and Parents alike will clamor to watch a show about the country’s 4 best college admission consultants, I personally can’t wait and I hope that it gets a series order. My Prediction is that it will.
“America’s Best Restaurant” (working title) It is the American version of Ramsay’s Best restaurant which is not exactly original, this is a lot like other popular shows on bravo. My Prediction is that it will get a series order.
“Rich People’s Problems” (working title) Phaedra’s spin off, where she mediates the relationships and minor crises between her friends and other rich public figures, My Prediction is it shouldn’t but it will eventually get picked up…smh
Well that was long and exhausting, and BRAVO is gonna have its hands full. Tell me what you think, do you see anything interesting? What will you be Watching?
