Drop Dead Diva is DEAD After Season 6

It's official. No really I'm serious. Lifetime has officially cancelled Drop Dead Diva. The series will come to an end with the conclusion of its sixth Season. Drop Dead Diva has had an amazing run on Lifetime. Last year, After the outcry from fans and the producer Sony TV coming up with a more feasible “financial model” for the series, the cable station decided to give Drop Dead Diva another season after initially canceling the long running drama. Fans should not expect
the same to happen after this 13 episode season. Dramas become extremely more expensive after six seasons, when the initial contracts with the actors expire. So enjoy Deb while you can this spring, because this is the end of the line for a Drop Dead Diva.

The Final Season of Drop Dead Diva premieres March 23rd

In 2014 GSN plans to boost up its commitment to original content, they will be adding one new series this year with many more in development. Preachers Daughters Round 2
