Syfy has found its niche and has a development slate to prove it. With Defiance set to become the first show ever to also be a multiplayer online game, and new reality and scripted shows set to air and in development, Syfy is kicking ass and taking names. On April 24th SyFy “imagine greater” kicked off their 2013 upfront presentation by announcing the largest original programming slate in the history of the channel. SyFy Ventures announced a partnership with Hasbro at the Upfront presentation to develop an online social game based on the iconic G.I. Joe Franchise, that should on Facebook, and at Syfygames.com in June.
