Sensing that Joe is still very much in love with his wife, Rebecca agrees to work temporarily as the family’s nanny until Christmas. To Rebecca’s delight, by healing Joe and Lucy’s family, she shows Santa that Christmas miracles are still possible and his job’s more important than ever!

The two met on a flight, and Morgan’s plans to continue on to Denver are cancelled when he finds out the city is completely snowed in. Uncle Ralph approves of Morgan, too, but Jen’s boyfriend Richard isn’t nearly as receptive. Meanwhile, Morgan has started to really like Jen, but if she can’t manage to make Christmas about anything more than business, Morgan will be on his way to Denver, and she’ll have missed the opportunity that was right in front of her. Jen just needs to learn “how to do Christmas,” and it turns out Morgan is the one to teach her.

The Ghosts of Christmas Eve is a 1999 made-for-TV movie showcasing a Christmas music performance by Trans-Siberian Orchestra, starring Ossie Davis and Allie Sheridan with guest performers Michael Crawford and Jewel. Other performers include Bob Kinkel, Al Pitrelli, Chris Caffery, Johnny Lee Middleton, Jeff Plate, Tony Gaynor, Daryl Pediford and Tommy Farese. The songs are presented in such a way as to form a storyline about a runaway who takes refuge in an abandoned theatre on Christmas Eve, and experiences the musical performances as ghostly visions from the theatre's past. Ossie Davis as the caretaker and Allie Sheridan (Schenectady, NY) as the runaway, are used to fill out the narrative.

The kid who loves Christmas is Reggie (Trent Cameron), a young orphan on the verge of being adopted by a jazz musician (Hill Street Blues' Michael Warren) and his wife (singer Vanessa Williams). But just as the adoption is about to be finalized, Williams is killed in a car accident. Warren spends most of the movie battling with a social worker (Good Times' Esther Rolle), who is now withholding approval of the adoption — she doesn't think Warren's traveling-jazzman life would be a good influence on Reggie.

As the Burdocks make their way across the country, the tree garners more and more fans. However, with the increased media attention, the tree’s value begins to be more about its marketability than its sentimental value as a national symbol and it’s up to Rock and Corey to decide – as a family – which is more important.

Chicago native Emily Jones (Autumn Reeser) loves her city, and has dedicated her career to coordinating its beloved Thanksgiving Day parade every year. The film concerns the story of the Boyajian family, who have not celebrated Christmas in 11 years, since their son John was killed on Christmas Day 1991 during the Gulf War. With their daughter Jeanie potentially facing a life-threatening illness, George decides they should once again celebrate Christmas; however, Carol adamantly refuses. George heads to watch over the town's veterans memorial and is accosted by several teenage punks, who are scared off by "Matthew", a hitchhiker passing through town. As Matthew and George talk, Matthew claims to be a Gulf veteran who is the same age as John and served in the same regiment as John, although the two did not apparently know each other. George invites Matthew to spend Christmas with his family, asking him to tell his wife and daughter that he knew John while they served together. George's ultimate plan is to get the family to once again celebrate Christmas, which works. But as Matthew makes up stories about he and John, George begins to wonder about Matthew's true identity when his stories include details that only John would have known (including a notable surgical scar from an athletic injury). At the end, it is revealed that Matthew is actually John making a supernatural visit (by revealing the scar mentioned earlier) in order to restore the family's Christmas spirit.

When Angels Comes to Town is the third in a series of whimsical TV-movies featuring Peter Falk as an eccentric, all-purpose guardian angel named Max. Sent to a small town in Maine just before the Christmas holidays, Max immediately gets to work on what he thinks is his current assignment: To help Sally Reid (Tammy Blanchard) earn enough money so that she can adopt her orphaned brother Jimmy (Alexander Conti). Unfortunately, it turns out that Max has goofed: Instead of Sally, he was supposed to come to the aid of Karl Hoffman (Seann Gallagher), a misguided young man who is poised to lay off the artisans working at the glass factory run by his Uncle Gregory (Mark Anthony Krupa), an East German refugee. Thus it is that Max's heavenly superior, an attractive angel named Jo (Katey Sagal), descends to earth to untangle the mess. Subsequently, however, both Max and Jo come to realize that the ultimates fates of Sally and Karl are inextricably intertwined. As was the case in the earlier A Town Without Christmas and Finding John Christmas, the cagey Max adopts several disguises in the course of his assignment, at one point showing up in drag!

Enterprises, and the Christmas spirit pervasive there, which he believes is more than just Christmas spirit. Liz, who is surprised to see Jack living a more relaxed lifestyle, just wants to continue on with her work via cell phone. But Jack, Mason, and the local café owner Kevin O'Reilly, who, like Jack just found Hollyville when his life wasn't going all that well, try to convince Liz that she needs to believe to make her life more meaningful.

Christie, however, is hopeless in the kitchen, despite help from her mom, Bev (Laura Soltis, "Hiccups"). She doesn't think she has a chance—until she meets James, a new student's handsome and sweet single dad. In addition to running a charitable shelter, James is also an excellent cook. As both Christie and Penny vie for James's attention in yet another aggressive battle, Christie starts to tutor his precious, kindhearted daughter Lily (Genae Charpentier, "Girl Vs. Monster") and gets to know James outside of school. As their relationship starts to deepen, and James' baking expertise guides Christie's cookie creations, Christie’s competitive edge starts to soften. But at the final bake-off challenge, James is finally caught in the middle of Christie and Penny’s petty feud, and Christie comes to realize life’s most rewarding prizes don’t come with a trophy.

However, for the past three winters, Aloyisius T. McKeever (Victor Moore), a hobo, and his dog Sam, have occupied the property. One winter, O'Connor evicts ex-G.I. Jim Bullock (Don DeFore), war buddies Hank (Edward Ryan), Whitey (Alan Hale, Jr.) and their families from one of his city apartment buildings in order to construct another. While sleeping on a park bench, Jim meets Aloysious who invites Jim to stay with him at O'Connor's townhouse, and Jim, thinking Aloyisius is O'Connor, agrees. Meanwhile, O’Connor receives word that his daughter, Trudy (Gale Storm), has run away from school. When Trudy arrives at the townhouse, Jim believes that she is a thief, but allows her stay. Jim also invites Whitey, Hank and their families to live in the townhouse while they seek permanent homes of their own. When Trudy falls in love with Jim, she tells her father who demands to meet him. She also tells him what has been going on and convinces him to take up residence, pretending to be a panhandler. When O’Connor informs Trudy that he intends to have them all arrested, she telephones her mother, Mary (Ann Harding), who must Florida and pretend to be the 11th interloper.

Unfortunately, it turns out that Max has goofed: Instead of Sally, he was supposed to come to the aid of Karl Hoffman (Seann Gallagher), a misguided young man who is poised to lay off the artisans working at the glass factory run by his Uncle Gregory (Mark Anthony Krupa), an East German refugee. Thus it is that Max's heavenly superior, an attractive angel named Jo (Katey Sagal), descends to earth to untangle the mess. Subsequently, however, both Max and Jo come to realize that the ultimates fates of Sally and Karl are inextricably intertwined. Though two schools have recently merged into one, students at the newly formed Carter-Cresswell Academy have yet to blend into one harmonious body. Nineteen days before Christmas, accountant Peter Brockman is dumped by his fiancée, Jill, because of his workaholic ways and being emotionally detached from life. Proverbially drowning his sorrows (with soda) at a lounge, Peter meets the lounge's "volunteer" blues pianist/singer Bob, who works solely for tips. The two discuss their love of music and Peter's long since forgotten dreams of becoming a musician when he was younger. When Bob invites Peter to his home for dinner with his family followed by a jam session, Peter has no idea that Bob's home is a shelter and that his family is comprised of the other homeless men. After speaking to Sister Agatha, the tough, straight-talking nun at the shelter, Peter, reevaluating his life, decides the best way he can help is to form a choir at the shelter, the choir's performances which would help give a little extra pocket money to its members so that they can have a merrier Christmas. The choir faces many obstacles, including the dichotomy between Peter and its members, unrealized expectations and Sister Agatha's skepticism. But the biggest obstacles may be the baggage each person brings to the group, the person with the largest baggage being perhaps Peter himself, who has long been estranged from his alcoholic father. Through it all, Marilyn, a new friend of Peter's, is by his side hoping that she can provide a little assistance and guidance to Peter realizing his dreams.

America is in the midst of the Great Depression, and the Kamp family is struggling to get by, especially since Mrs. Kamp's untimely death nearly a year ago. Eighteen-year-old Verna does her best to take care of the family while going to school, and seventeen-year-old Warren is anxious to work and earn money to help the family in spite of his father's protests. But it's the younger children -- aspiring ball player Russell; Hopalong Cassidy fan Norman; and straight-talking little Ruthie -- who struggle most with a bleak-looking future. Now, with their mother gone and their father, William, overwhelmed by the dismal economy and mounting doctor bills resulting from young Norman's battle with polio, the Kamp siblings fully expect a Christmas without presents or festivities. But when William scrapes together a dollar in coins to use only for Christmas gifts, everything begins to change. As each member of the family comes up with a special gift that costs little or no money to be given to another member of the family, the Kamps soon begin to see many of their dearest wishes come true. And just when Norman and Ruthie believe their hopes and dreams are dashed, small miracles of service and sacrifice bring them joy and teach the true meaning of Christmas giving. Perhaps a boy who struggles to walk can become a real cowboy after all.

In The Heart of Christmas, Megan, who has been struggling with finding time for her husband Walt (Burgess Jenkins) and hasn't made it to one of her daughter Emma's (Brooke Bryan) soccer games all year, has forgotten that it is Halloween until her son Jackson (Christian Nelson, Hayden Nelson) is standing in front of her in costume, ready to go trick-or-treating. After bargaining with Emma to take her brother door to door in a nearby neighborhood for a few hours so she can finish a business proposal, they race out of the house, only to find hundreds of homes lit up for Christmas on Halloween. Confused by this scene, Megan asks neighbors Mark (Matthew West) and Trish (Erin Bethea), who have rallied the community to bring Christmas holiday cheer to the Locke family upon Dax's (Chris Shone, Nick Shone) final return home from St. Jude, to explain the scene before them. Trish hands Megan a card with Julie Locke's (Jeanne Neilson) blog information on it and encourages Megan to read it. Before Megan is able to react, Trish sends her away with a heartfelt warning, stating, "it will change your life."

Upset his wealthy parents ditched him for a Paris skiing vacation, he takes his anger out on the neighboring town’s ancient Wishing Tree, a bare tree decorated with handwritten notes containing the townspeople’s greatest holiday wishes. A much loved tradition, it doubles as a fundraiser for needy families, depending on donations from eager wish-makers. Drew's troublemaking eventually threatens Farnsworth's job, but with the help of the town and the special Wishing Tree, Farnsworth discovers that anything is possible.

When an inept group of criminals tries to get a stolen top-secret computer chip through airport security, it ends up in a toy car in the luggage of the elderly Mrs. Hess (Marian Seldes). Unable to promptly retrieve the chip, the felons follow Hess and the car to her neighborhood. After she gives the toy to young Alex Pruitt (Alex D. Linz), who is home sick from school, he becomes the target of the criminals. However, the precocious kid is on to their schemes and ready to fight the thieves off.

When they receive an emotional last-minute plea not meant for Saint Nick, but instead written to God, they must delay their own travel plans to make sure one little girl doesn’t lose her Christmas joy—something Oliver and Shane are also struggling to find as they each face painful holiday memories. He has also made friends with Mary Ann (Helen Colliander) and became attached to Tucker, the smart and friendly dog the McCrays take in when his troubled owner Frank Thorne (Ron Lea) lands in jail.
