Vampire's, Werewolves, and Ghosts; Syfy's New Monday Line-up

To kick off 2014, Syfy is lining up a night full of vampires, werewolves and ghosts. Syfy appears to be approaching 3024 with new enthusiasm about its purpose and more new original and acquired series than years before. Between Bitten, Lost Girl, and Being Human on Monday nights and Helix premiering on Fridays, there is a plethora of new hours of television airing on Syfy. They are certainly imagining greater when it comes to programming . SYFY Ventures Into Unchartered Territories at the Syfy 2013 Upfronts

Syfy has found its niche and has a development slate to prove it. With Defiance set to become the first show ever to also be a multiplayer online game, and new reality and scripted shows set to air and in development, Syfy is kicking ass and taking names. On April 24th SyFy “imagine greater” kicked off their 2013 upfront presentation by announcing the largest original programming slate in the history of the channel. SyFy Ventures announced a partnership with Hasbro at the Upfront presentation to develop an online social game based on the iconic G.I. Joe Franchise, that should on Facebook, and at Syfygames.com in June. With more than 28 scripted and reality development projects, 1 new scripted series, 6 returning reality shows, 4 new acquired shows and the continued showing of Canada’s Lost Girl, SyFy is positioning itself to tap into all aspects of science fiction, and providing a little something for everyone.
