Chasing Life - It All Hits the Fan (S1E5)

REVIEW S1E5: The Family That Lies Together
"Either you tell them or I will"
Its date night and Boyfriend Dominic, and April decide to go see a psychic, and after an intuitive reading where the psychic hints that the key to Aprils health may lie with her "sisters" April is all shook up. The next morning April faints at the breakfast table and flashes back to a time when her dad was alive. Playing it off as nothing, April goes out to meet Beth, and then heads to work. After talking to Beth about what the psychic said, April begins to look for her mystery sister, Natalie Ortiz. She ends up getting information about Natalie through the car she rented. After getting Natalie's vitals, she digs through all of her dad's stuff where she finds a picture of her dad, Natalie, and her uncle George.

Chasing Life - And It All Came Crumbling Down (S1E4)

REVIEW S1E4: I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
"Are we really comparing diagnosis?"
Hold on this is a long one. Episode 4 ends where episode 3 left off. April doesn't talk during the support group but Leo does. Turns out Leo has an aggressive tumor on his brain stem. By not talk April earns Leo's wrath, who thinks that April is there to get the scoop on him. But all’s is not well with April, she's run down, and late on the day she's supposed to have her biopsy.  After turning down Beth's offer to go with her for moral support, she's late and ends up missing her appointment. In a very unlike April kind of way, she tracks down Uncle George, at the pediatric hospital who had assumed she was just blowing him off again. But after hearing she overslept her alarm, Uncle George is more about why she missed her appointment, than the fact she missed it in the first place.

Chasing Life - All’s Well That Ends Well (S1E3)

REVIEW S1E3: Blood Cancer Sex Carrots
"I can't be the one....... I'm sick"
First let me say I’m sorry. When a show gets irritating I stop watching. So, if you haven't guessed already I had stopped watching Chasing Life after 2 episodes had past and not one family member was told April had Cancer. Frustrated I took a week break, then one week became two, but it's ok because after watching the promo for Chasing Life episode 5, I binged watch episodes 3 & 4 in order to catch up. So now that apologies have been made let's jump right to it.
