Cancellations begin at Fox (yes, already)

Fox has started their cancellations for the year early. Mid-Season drama, Hieroglyph has been cancelled by the network before any episodes aired. Hieroglyph centered a notorious thief (Max Brown) who is plucked from prison to serve the Pharoah (Reece Ritchie), navigating palace intrigue, seductive concubines, criminal underbellies and even a few divine sorcerers. This action adventure series was
picked up in October with a straight to series order so that the network could spend money over multiple episodes and not just the pilot. Unfortunately the network didn't feel as if the storylines and newer scripts were coming together. It didn't help that when the trailer for the series was played at Fox’s upfront presentation in May, the crowd had a mixed reaction, triggering speculation that the network may shelve the project. I guess the only thing to say now is let the cancellations begin!

In four seasons, there has bee...
