You have to go Big or go Home if you are looking to keep your slot at CBS. Unfortunately, some shows are just not up to CBS standards. This year, 6 shows have been cancelled, and an iconic comedy is coming to an end. Although CBS' head of programming announced that there would most likely only be two new drama series picked up and two new comedy series added to the line-up it is now abundantly clear that CBS will welcome more than four new shows next season. Most of the shows coming to an end saw the writing on the wall and wrote an appropriate series ending.

Thursday Night Football has found a new home at CBS. Therefore, the already cramped CBS schedule is getting even tighter since there is less room on the roster. The network has not stated that they are only looking to add 2 dramas and 2 comedies to the line-up for next year. On the heels of that announcement they have decided to renew nine of their hit dramas, five of their stand out comedies and both of their critically acclaimed reality series.
