2014-2015 FOX SCHEDULE Fox has decided to do away with the traditional pilot cycle and instead develop pilots more like the cable stations do. Fox has always been an interesting network, it never embraced having original programming at the 10 o’clock hour, and up until this year their lineup has been filled with reality shows. This year they are switching it up, having less reality shows on their network and adding more dramas to their fall schedule. This 2014-2015 season, Fox has started to implement year round programming. With the most anticipated new drama Gotham, set to air Mondays this Fall, I’m sure Fox’s ratings are going to be better than usual. 2014 FOX FALL SCHEDULE

Fans of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl, The Mindy Project and The Following can all breathe a little easier, because Fox is giving early renewal to these four shows. Brooklyn Nine Nine which recently was awarded a Golden Globes will begin its sophomore season fall 2014. The Mindy Project and The Following will also be heading into its third season this fall, which almost always means that they will both be enjoying a fourth season so that they can get to that magical syndication number.  New Girl will be heading into its fourth season, which was no surprise considering it’s the networks strongest comedy. These shows will join 3 other Fox scripted series that have already been renewed for next season including; freshman drama Sleepy Hollow; veteran Bones, renewed for a 10th season; and Glee , which has a final sixth season as part of a two-year pickup.

  Sleepy Hollow will not be returning this spring but don't worry it's already been picked up a second season on Fox. Sleepy Hollow is part of Fox’s strategy for shorter, largely uninterrupted, cable-style programming. It was designed to air its 13-episode first season in the fall before another drama series ordered under the same template, The Following , returned in the Monday 9 PM hour in January.

Fox is also the only network that still embraces animation as a part of their primetime line up and with space for only four new dramas this fall, the competition for these spots was fierce, and two new scripted dramas made the cut. This 2013-2014 season Fox has a new goal, to provide year round programming. Fox has scheduled its original programming to premiere all year round, with some shows not set to debut until May. With a drama from J.J.
