Sleepy Hollow RENEWED

Sleepy Hollow will not be returning this spring but don't worry it's already been picked up a second season on Fox. Sleepy Hollow is part of Fox’s strategy for shorter, largely uninterrupted, cable-style programming. It was designed to air its 13-episode first season in the fall before another drama series ordered under the same template, The Following, returned in the Monday 9 PM hour in January.

Sleepy Hollow, is an original take on the legend of the Headless Horseman, it was one of the biggest success stories last fall, due to its strong premiere numbers and its consistency. It opened with a 3.4 18-49 rating and, three weeks in, still staying above the 3 ratings threshold in live viewing (3.0). The series, from K/O Paper Products and 20th Century Fox TV, also is a huge DVR draw, earning a 5.0/13 rating among adults 18-49 and 13.6 million viewers for the premiere in Live+3, making it Fox’s most successful fall drama premiere since the debut of 24 in November 2001. “The show has proven to be a risk well worth taking — it’s a conceptual blast unlike anything else on television and it all holds together with inventive writing and a fantastic cast,” said Fox chairman Kevin Reilly.

MY FIVE WIVES ON TLC

"One huge plural family" After the raid in Texas, many Americans became aware of polygamy as an alternative lifestyle being practiced secretly all over the U.S. TLC became the first channel to offer viewers an inside look into how polygamy was being practiced by "modern" looking men and women. The network decided to capitalized on the American public's innate fascination with alternative lifestyles and their curiosity with how these all American families; live, interact and find a way to raise and feed households that are often 5 or 6 times the size of the average family.    We got our first look into how normal and yet chaotic their lives were when TLC introduced its viewers to the Brown family; Kody, his four wives, and their seventeen children. They ice blocked, threw co-ed parties, and had a non negotiable stance on modesty -- they were normal. It only took one episode for TLC to know they had a hit on their hands. In four seasons, there has bee...
