CW Renews 5 For Next Season, and Keeps 6 On The Bubble

Yesterday, the CW took a lot of the guessing out of what will be renewed for next season by giving early renewal orders to its four hit series; The Vampire Diaries for season 6, Supernatural for season 10, Arrow for season 3, and the freshman hit The Originals for season 2. What came as a bit of a surprise was the renewal of one of its modest freshman series; Reign. But when all is said and done, 5 hours of the CW schedule has been set in stone for next year, before the premieres of its two mid season shows; Star Crossed and The 100.

Now the question becomes which bubble series will be renewed come May. Will the struggling Carrie Diaries, and Beauty and the Beast live to see another season? Can Hart of Dixie make it to syndication? Will the freshman series The tomorrow People make it past 22 episodes or will other two mid season shows get the vote of confidence from the CW brass. It's really anyone's guess since most of their ratings are relatively similar. The CW will most likely renew 2-3 more series. So, what do you think, which of these 6 bubble shows will live on for another season? Let us know in the Comments!

And make sure to catch Star-Crossed Monday, February 17th at 9pm

MY FIVE WIVES ON TLC

"One huge plural family" After the raid in Texas, many Americans became aware of polygamy as an alternative lifestyle being practiced secretly all over the U.S. TLC became the first channel to offer viewers an inside look into how polygamy was being practiced by "modern" looking men and women. The network decided to capitalized on the American public's innate fascination with alternative lifestyles and their curiosity with how these all American families; live, interact and find a way to raise and feed households that are often 5 or 6 times the size of the average family.    We got our first look into how normal and yet chaotic their lives were when TLC introduced its viewers to the Brown family; Kody, his four wives, and their seventeen children. They ice blocked, threw co-ed parties, and had a non negotiable stance on modesty -- they were normal. It only took one episode for TLC to know they had a hit on their hands. In four seasons, there has bee...
