ABOUT US

Hey Everyone!

Welcome to the blog where everything TV is discussed and nothing TV related is off limits!!  I’m Brianna and I’m fairly new to blogging (a little more than a year old) so bear with me while I get my feet wet.  I am not an industry member or professional writer or journalist.  I am just a girl who loves her TV, dreams of being the heroine in every good drama and wants to talk about it and share her thoughts with other TV fans!

Hopefully when you come here you’ll see reviews of shows, rating information, discussions on plot lines and characters, TV shows on DVD,  and a “Let us know in the comments" tag line that encourages readers to talk about anything you need to get off your chest…your favorite character was killed, your favorite show was canceled, why is no one discussing XYZ shows, etc.

As much I would like this to be the job that pays my mortgage, it isn’t.  This is just something I love to do!!!  So sometimes it may take me a few days to get to a review or recap. I would also love for anyone else who wants to blog about their favorite show (for free), but who doesn't want to start a brand new blog on their own to let me know becuz I'd love to have you.  So make sure you keep coming back to visit to see if your favorite show has been reviewed.  I promise to get to all shows as fast as I can (and I’ll try not to let my real job get in the way too often!)

So sit back, grab your remotes, your favorite beverage (you may want to make that alcoholic for those of you over 21 until I get better at this blog thing) and let’s talk some TV!! You can always reach out to me on here but if you have questions, comments, or other inquiries that you prefer not be for everyone to see, please feel free to reach out to me on Twitter, Facebook or the contact form on the left hand side of the page.

For any broadcast or cable networks or any other original TV entity, if you wish to send any information about upcoming shows or DVDs of  upcoming pilots or shows you wish to be reviewed or promoted, please reach me at  Briannamitchell1213@gmail.com and I would be happy to send you a mailing address.

MY FIVE WIVES ON TLC

"One huge plural family" After the raid in Texas, many Americans became aware of polygamy as an alternative lifestyle being practiced secretly all over the U.S. TLC became the first channel to offer viewers an inside look into how polygamy was being practiced by "modern" looking men and women. The network decided to capitalized on the American public's innate fascination with alternative lifestyles and their curiosity with how these all American families; live, interact and find a way to raise and feed households that are often 5 or 6 times the size of the average family.    We got our first look into how normal and yet chaotic their lives were when TLC introduced its viewers to the Brown family; Kody, his four wives, and their seventeen children. They ice blocked, threw co-ed parties, and had a non negotiable stance on modesty -- they were normal. It only took one episode for TLC to know they had a hit on their hands. In four seasons, there has bee...
