Style network encourages its audience to WORK IT. LOVE IT. STYLE IT but this upfront season you may just want to FORGET IT. In February, Style Network announced it modest plan to expand its 2013 development slate. At this mini press junket they announced 3 New series set to appear in 2013 and the return of 2 Fan favorites. Style seems like its living in Limbo trying desperately to find its voice, these new shows may help, but they will definitely need more. 

New Series Set To Premiere....

"POP STYLE"
From the fashion front lines of New York, Los Angeles, Paris and Toledo, “Pop Style” is a live, weekly, no-limits journey to the center of all things style. Hosted by Jeannie Mai and Louise Roe, this weekly topical studio-based series will advise Style viewers on how to look good and live stylishly, updating them on the latest news in fashion, beauty, lifestyle and pop culture. With a rotating panel of expert contributors and live polling activations, viewers will have the opportunity to chat with the hosts and participate from their mobile devices and through StyleNetwork.com. From accessible fashion cues and the hottest trends in entertainment to the coolest tech gadgets and most buzzworthy restaurants, no topic will be left uncovered.


"LIFESTYLES OF THE RICH AND FAMOUS"
“Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” is inspired by the original pop culture classic series, which pulls back the curtain on the lives of the fabulously wealthy. The new series will take viewers into the lifestyles and perks of the elite crowd. This humorous, informative and fun ride will travel through the most glamorous locations and hotspots in the world.


"LUXE LIFE MIAMI"
This docu-series features the life and business of Katrina Campins, former “Apprentice” star and a successful high-end Miami real estate agent. Campins, who caters to over 350 A-list celebrities, athletes and wealthy professionals, has amassed an impressive client list that includes Russell Brand, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Kevin Durant and Timbaland. She runs her business with her charming ex-husband, her controlling Cuban mother and her younger sister. Viewers will get an inside look at the drama of helping high-end clients buy and sell luxury real estate in sultry Miami, along with the trials and tribulations of Katrina searching for true love and happiness. From the beach to the boardroom, the series will follow Katrina and her team of realtors as they explore Miami's most luxurious properties – beautiful beaches and the hottest bars, clubs and restaurants.

"GLAM SQUAD"
From executive producer and Academy Award winner Charlize Theron, “Glam Squad” navigates the world of make-up and hair glam squads, giving a behind-the-scenes look into what it takes for them to land The Job of their dreams. Each episode will follow three beauty teams of hair stylists and makeup artists as they vie for the same high-stakes job. Whether it’s a big budget music video, a glossy fashion magazine photo shoot or a red carpet event, these talented glam squads are looking for the big break that will catapult their careers to the next level. The series will document the journey of aspiring hair and makeup artists and their unpredictable business. From last-minute jobs to demanding clients, the glam squads will encounter challenges that will not only test their skills and passion, but also their ability to make it in this cutthroat industry.


"CRAZY BEAUTIFUL"
Provides intimate access to some of the bizarre  over the top and, often times, painful beauty regimens and procedures women will endure to achieve their desired looks. From achieving a 20 inch. waist with intense corseting, to growing foot long fingernails, to desiring triple L breast implants, these individuals strive to defy the conventional standards of beauty. 

"THE FABULIST"
This humorous half-hour countdown show features taste-makers and pop culture junkies who weigh in on what is hot in the world of vacation destinations, luxury homes and fabulous lifestyles. "The Fabulist" will celebrate the best of the best bu counting down all things fun and fantastic. 

"FASHION PHENOMS"
Kid fashion design prodigies go head to head with one another in a high stakes design competition, accompanied by their parents who are learning to navigate the cutthroat world of high-fashion. These "Fashion Phenoms" will be pushed to the next level as they are mentored by some of the biggest designers in the business while challenged to create their own line and compete on the national stage. 

"MATCHED BY DESIGN"
This half-hour home makeover series introduces Lloyd Princeton, a high end interior design broker who matches a very wealthy client with an A-list designer. His matchmaking process involves selecting three designers to present their unique vision for the clients renovation. The client then makes their choice with Lloyd managing the project and ultimately, the fabulous final reveal. 

"KEEP THE PARTY MOVING!"
The Progressive dinner is a hot trend in home entertaining and serves as the backdrop for this fun and outrageous competition series. Evert planners extraordinaire, Kristin Banta and Kevin Lee, will critique four friends as they creatively carve out each course to prove who is the best in entertaining.

"POWER HOUSE"
Tiana Von Johnson is the founder of a luxury real estate agency in New York, the first to be owned by an African-American woman. She and her team of power agents sell some of the most glamorous and upscale multi-million dollar properties every day. "Power House" follows this team that works hard and plays even harder, where the rule of thumb is - you're only as good as your last sale

"RECONSTRUCTING BEVERLY HILLS"
Each episode follows patients who have experienced the nightmare of plastic surgeries gone horribly wrong. From the double bubble breast augmentation complication, to collapsed nose jobs, to severe disfiguration from an amateur attempt at liposuction. "Reconstructing Beverly Hills" features heartbreaking patient stories and the Beverly Hills plastic surgeons who restore their bodies and spirits. 

"STYLE JUNKIES"
Follows over the top fashion obsessed individuals as they indulge in their outlandish fashion fixations. Whether its a Louboutin collection that takes over every room of a house or a beloved pet with a triple digit couture wardrobe, this comedic series will capture fashion addicts at their finest.

"SELITA"
This docu-series follows supermodel Selita Ebanks as she embarks on a new chapter of her life at age 30. After her two year relationship with TV personality Terrence J ends, Selita's focus shifts to expanding her career beyond modeling to launch a clothing line. 


Returning Shows in 2013 will definitely include Tia and Tamera season 3 and season 6 of Giuliana and Bill

Breezy's Recap: The Style Network definitely leaves something to be desired! I watch maybe one show on the entire network (Tia and Tamera) and I will probably only be watching 1 new show (Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous). I do not know what it is with Style i am always hesitant to try any shows on the network. Any recommendations? What show do you watch on style? what show should I watch on style?
