2 Year Renewal For Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones has become a monster hit for HBO and the network has decided to treat it as such. HBO has renewed the series for a fifth and sixth season. So fans can rest assured their favorite show will be around for the forceable future. How far the show will go is still in the hands of the novels’ writer George R.R. Martin, who is still writing Book 6 in the seven-book series. But as fans of the series know, the current Season 4 chronicles events that take place toward the end of the third book. Based on the bestselling fantasy book series by Martin, Thrones is an epic story of treachery and nobility set on the continent of Westeros, where summers and winters can last years, and only the lust for power is eternal.
