At Least 26 more episodes for Archer on FX

 FX has renewed the animated spy series for season 6 and season 7. With the double season pickup Archer has enough episodes to reach syndication, in fact Comedy Central has picked up the off network rights to Archer. So be sure to catch Archer from the beginning on Comedy Central. Both Season 6 and Season 7 will be
13 episodes each. Eric Schrier a president of original programming on FX and FXX staid “Archer is one of the best comedies on television and has played a significant role in the growth of the FX comedy brand.” FX has managed to maintain a steady audience throughout all 5 of the seasons that have been produced. Archer is the second highest rated comedy on basic cable amongst the18-49 age range. The sixth season of Archer should return late winter of 2014.

Multi-year renewal all set for Pretty Little Liars

Its official Pretty Little Liars will be the longest lasting original show to ever air on ABC Family. The season 5 premiere of PLL is set to air tonight at 8pm, and will pick up right where the season 4 finale ended. This is abcfamily’s first ever multi-season pickup. The soapy mystery has been renewed for a sixth season, to air in mid-2015, and for a seventh season, to air in mid-2016. Pretty Little Liars, is ABC Family’s No. 1 series ever in total viewers (3.8 million) and all target demos: adults 18-34 (1.5 million/2.2 rating), women 18-34 (1.3 million/3.7 rating), adults 18-49 (2.0 million/1.6 rating), women 18-49 (1.7 million/2.7 rating), people 12-34 (2.6 million/2.8 rating) and females 12-34 (2.3 million/4.9 rating).
