"The Situation" has taken residence at TVGN

Depending on how you look at it; Mike “the Situation” Sorrentino is moving up in the world and trading his reality gig at MTV for a new reality TV show on TVGN. The situation will star in an 8 episode first season that will probe deep into "The Situation" and members on his family including Mike (youngest brother), Linda (mother), Marc (middle brother), Melissa (sister) and Frank (older brother). Apparently we have only seen one side of him, The Situation side, and now it’s time for America to get a look at Mike Sorrentino. We will see how Mike copes with sobriety, family and what’s next for his life. The Sorrentinos is executive produced by Julie and Seth Jarrett of Jarrett Creative (Boston’s Finest). Sorrentino is the latest Jersey Shore star to get their own series. Nicole Polizzi, Jennifer Farley and Paul DelVecchio headlined Jersey Shore spinoffs for MTV, Snooki & JWoww and The Pauly D Project. GSN GETS ITS GAME ON

GSN 2014 UPFRONTS GSN is sticking to game shows and its working for them. In 2014 GSN plans to boost up its commitment to original content, they will be adding one new series this year with many more in development. GSN had a stellar 2013, the network’s most-watched year ever, with double-digit audience growth across all key demos and total viewers. “In 2013 our original programming began hitting on all cylinders and our ratings reached record highs. Preachers Daughters Round 2

The outrageous reality series Preachers Daughters , on Lifetime has been renewed for season 2 and will premiere March 5th. “The gap between heaven and hell has never been wider than in the Season 2 of Preachers’ Daughters.” So reads the press release issued today by Lifetime. Featuring 2 returning daughters; Kolby Koloff and Taylor Coleman and 2 new ones; Megan Cassidy of Boiling Springs, South Carolina and Tori Elliott from New Orleans. Preachers Daughters season two promises to be as outrageous as the first season.
